Why is my official sony PS2 memory card not recognised with some games?
I just bought a second-hand playstation 2, and a new official Sony 8MB memory card. It works perfectly with some games, but with others, it says ‘insert memory card’ and doesn’t recognise that the card is already in the slot. I am inserting it in card slot 1, and have also tried formatting it. Does anyone know where the problem lies?
