Can refilling ink cartridges damage your Printer? Is store brand ink cartridges as good as name brands?
I have heard that refilling ink cartridges can damage your printer. Is this true… plus, I do photography and when you refill the ink cartridges, can you still produce the same vivid color and quality as when you buy a new cartridge. Are store brand cartridges as good on color quality as name brands?
Name brands are definately better.
However, I doubt if copy brands will damage anything. In my experience with HP printers the copy brands are low quality. They often fail to work at all.
I always buy branded carts – but from ebay – that way they are often cheaper than copy brands – but still original quality.
One issue with copy brands is colour fading over time. A lot of copy brand printouts fade over time.
