How do I get photos from my camera memory card onto my computer?
I have had a camera for over a year now and have always gotten photos from my Memory Card slot on the side of my Vista computer. previously i had just inserted the memory card into the slot and a prompt would come up asking me if i wanted to download pictures. now that prompt doesnt come up anymore and I have no idea how to get the pictures off. I have tried going to my computer and clicking on the card drive but nothing works!
Sounds like the socket’s got fluff in it. Apart from cleaning it, you can either plug the camera in using the cable that came with it, or you can get a card-reader. In the UK I’d suggest Poundland but I don’t know where you are.
